Take the first step toward joining Simi Valley’s premier youth orchestra.
This form helps us get to know you and prepare for your audition. It only takes a few minutes.

Eligibility: SVYO is open to musicians who will be 19 years of age or younger as of the start of the 2025–26 season.

Once you submit this form, you’ll receive an email invitation to set up your login details for the SVYO member portal. During that process, you’ll create your own password.

Once your account is created, you’ll be able to log in to the member portal to:

• View the required audition materials

• Choose an audition time slot that works for you

• Receive any important updates

About the Audition

You will be asked to:

• Perform a piece of music that we will provide in advance

• Play an additional piece of your own choosing that best demonstrates your current skill level

• Optionally, perform a short unprepared excerpt or basic scales so we can better assess placement

Our auditions are supportive, encouraging, and simply help us place you where you’ll grow best. We’re excited to hear you play!
